During his first month, your new baby will spend most of his time sleeping. You will spend a lot of time bonding with your baby during this time. This is very tiring time for you and the new baby. You probably will feel exhausted most of the time. Try to relax and take naps when your baby does.
Keep your home quiet and calm. This might be hard to do if you have other children at home. But the good news is, you probably are an experienced mom also. Get everyone involved to help out. If you have extended family, call them up for help. Be sure to eat nutritious food yourself. Particularly if you are breastfeeding. Arrange some time for yourself, let the dad help out caring for the new born for some time while you read, take a hot bath, or watch TV.
